1 Health education & advice
2 Screening for disease such as cervical smears & breast scans.
3 Primary prevention of illness - immunisations & jabs
4 Secondary prevention - when become high risk for disease or in early stages of illness - reducing blood pressure and levels of LDL cholesterol.
5 Tertiary prevention - controlling disease, e.g. heart disease.

  • Analysis of data - results before and after the campaign, e.g. weigh-in, pulse rate.
  • Questionnaires for service users before and after.
  • Statistics, e.g. incidence of teenage pregnancy/A&E admissions for alcohol related accidents.
