Heavy Extraction Sequence

A
  1. left locks released during slowdown checklist
  2. 15 sec TTG-CP pushes READY/DROGUE
  3. PDM kicks the drogue chute into the slipstream
  4. LM calls “Drogue OK” or “Malfunction”
  5. Green light-CP pushes the JUMP/REL switch
  6. TRM releases the extraction link
  7. force is transferred from drogue chute to the extraction chutes which are pulled into the slipstream
  8. right locks release and platform begins to roll when required aft force is met
  9. actuator arm of the EFTC slides along the ADS rail and RBA until it exits the aircraft
  10. when the actuator arm swings forward, the EFTC releases the latch and transfers force to the recovery chutes
