What is a conscience?
Conscience is deep within us, telling us ‘Do good, avoid evil’.
What are the four steps to moral decision making?

Define Examen of the conscience.
Evaluating all of the decisions we made during the day through prayer.
What are the three principles for the Examen of conscience?
- Never do evil for the sake of accomplishing something good.
- Treat others with love and respect.
- Reflect genuine concern for others.
Define freedom according to the Judeo-Christian tradition.
True freedom is respectful of others’ autonomy and is a gift to seek God and respond to His invitation to love.
What are the two types of freedom?
- Internal – Freedom for

What are threats to internal freedom?
- Ignorance

What are threats to external freedom?
- Oppression from others
- Injustice
- Prejudice
What is the connection between sin and freedom?
Sin limits our freedom.
Why is the Passover Seder significant to Christians?
Jesus celebrated the Passover at the Last Supper, transforming it into the Eucharist.
Why is Jesus known as the Paschal Lamb?
He saved us from sin, similar to how the Israelites were saved from bondage in Egypt by the blood of the Paschal lamb.
Where did the name Passover come from?
It comes from the event where the Jews smeared blood on their doorposts so the angel of God would pass over their homes.
Why do Jewish people celebrate Passover each year?
It affirms their faith in a loving God who liberated His Chosen People.
Define Passover.
Passover = freedom and commemorating the Israelites from Exodus.
What are the four liturgical colors?
- Purple

When is purple used in the liturgical calendar?
Advent and Lent.
When is green used in the liturgical calendar?
Ordinary Time.
When is white used in the liturgical calendar?
Christmas and Easter.

Feasts of the Lord’s passion, Blood, Cross, Feasts of Martyrs, Pentecost Sunday, Palm Sunday.
