Q

what happens at the Early lesion?

A

7 - 14 days plaque accumulation,
changes in fibroblasts and collagen content reduced. Redness and oedema clinically detectable as early chronic gingivitis.
Aetiology is collagenage

Q

what happens at established lesion clinically ?

A

Gingival crevice deepens as increase of sub gingival plaque
JE is hyper plastic and ulcerated
Aetiology hylaronodase
large number of plasma cells present
Clinically chronic gingivitis or early periodontitis

Q

what happens at advanced lesion?
