• Prof. MUDr. Stanislav Kostlivy studied medicine in Vienna, after working in gynecological surgery, he moved to Prague. In 1919 his family moved to Bratislava where the Bratislava University was established. He established the department of surgery and can be considered the founder of Slovak School of Medicine.
