Q

Eval

A

In context to his aims - short term stability, prepare for war, ideological aims, long term sustainability

Failed
- not sustainable due to their heavy reliance on rearmament, which was a state driven outcome rather than an organic, market led growth
- issue of guns before butter - they neglected consumer goods and standards of living - can compare to Stalin during the five year plans and industrialisation
- Shortage of foreign currency - told Goering in his 4 year plan that he should focus on Autarky and the substitution of materials but then failed bc they still had to import materials
