- Supports pregnancy

- Decreases reaction time
- Increases heart rate, blood flow to muscles and blood sugar levels

Decreases blood glucose level, makes liver absorb more

- Liver and other cells convert glycogen to glucose and release it into the blood
- Increases blood glucose
