What is the Lost and Found policy?

A

Lost and Found MUST be turned into a manager. A guest should never be told that we have their item, even if you personally tunied it in 2 minutes ago. If a guest inquires about a lost and found item, they should be directed to a manager, who will then check on the whereabouts of the item and facilitate its return.

A

We do not keep a waiting list for cancelled reservations. We encourage people to always call back for cancellations.

How can shifts be swapped?

A

If you need to swap or sub out a shift, it must be entered into HotSchedules. Any shift “released” by an employee will still be said employee’s responsibility until the shift has been picked up by another eligible employeed and approved by management. Unnecessary overtime will not be allowed and therefore the sub could be denied.

A

When you apprach the table facing the Quan Yin, the guest directly to your left is SEAT #1

The seat numbers for all booths in the restaurant are as follows: the first person on the banquette to your left on the approach is SEAT #1.

If tables are pushed together to accommodate a large party, when you approach the table facing the Quan Yin, the guest at the head of the table to your left is SEAT #1.

How many private dining rooms does TAO have?

A

4 Total

Tao has two Sky Boxes (east &west) that each accommadate up to 24 guests and on the bottom floor on each side of Quan Yin we have two private dining rooms that both can accommodate up to 12 guests.

A

At 10 feet you acknowledge the guest.

At 5 feet you greet the guest.

What is “The Bottle Thingy”?

A

A selection of after dinner cordials, digestives for the owners table or special guests of the venue.

A

Yes. $5 per person with a $25 maximum.

We do offer a variety of specialty cakes that need to be ordered 96hrs in advance with a credit card authorization. There is a 48hr cancellation policy for a full refund.

A

That it is something needed with the upmost urgency.
