Q

HT set the humidifier on the furnace summer and winter.

WINTER: you need humid in the winter and dryness in the summer.

For winter, set humidity about 35. Our casing drips on the floor so place a bucket on floor to capture the drips. Then use this water to water house plants.

If the inside of the windows have water on them, turn humidifier off and just run the fan manually without the furnace.

A

The humidifier has a summer winter setting, but just use humidifier in colder months.

Q

Baby aspirin vs statin

The statin solidifies artery plaque and makes the artery walls smoother instead of being full of chunky deposits.

The baby aspirin thins the blood and prevents blood clots forming that can lead to a blockage and heart attack.

A

French drain and slope away from house info.

Dan from Gravel Shooters told us to dig around foundation until we had 4 inches min. Of exposed concrete wall, then another 4 inches out from the wall. This makes a ditch, moat, etc. around foundation.

Next grade the slope starting with that 4 inches of exposed concrete wall, go outward until you are downhill about 6+ feet.

We decided to just make a French drain from bottom of moat till about 20 feet outward until we were several feet downward.

This saved tons of scraping the slope.

Non religious funeral

Humanist funerals
Humanist funerals are often chosen when the deceased did not practice a particular religion or if he or she was an atheist. Because historical traditions don’t exist to dictate the format of humanist funerals, specific arrangements are often left up to each individual or individual’s family.

The focus of a humanist funeral is generally on the life of the deceased, often in the form of a celebration of accomplishments and special memories. Humanist funerals may be led by a celebrant, a close friend or a family member.

What is a Non-Religious Funeral Service?

All religions have traditions and rituals that serve to honor the dead and assist bereaved families in handling their grief. The need for a fitting way to remember a departed loved one and say goodbye is universal, even among the non-religious. So really a non-religious funeral just means a ceremony to honor the deceased that is not tied to the traditions, rituals, or beliefs of any particular religion. Many of the same elements, such as eulogies and non-religious funeral readings, are used.

A non-religious funeral serves to help mourners express their sadness and offer their condolences to the family. In some cases, the funeral service may also be a celebration of the life that the deceased person lived.

Next

Non-Religious Funeral Etiquette

Guests who attend a non-religious funeral service should expect to behave in a way that’s typical for any type of funeral service, religious or otherwise. The funeral may be non-religious or atypical, but the feelings of sadness and grief are the same.

Expect the general mood to be somber and for guests to act with respect to the family’s wishes for the ceremony. They may wish for the service to take on a more celebratory nature, where the deceased person’s life is remembered with joy and fondness. There may be music that the departed person enjoyed during their lifetime, so expect to hear non-traditional music at some non-religious funerals.

Non-Religious Funeral Readings SAMPLE

"Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep" by Mary Elizabeth Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

RMD for IRA after age 72.

RMD (REQUIRED MANDATORY DISTRIBUTION).

Under law, when i turn 72, my RMD must be reached by April the following year. Going forward, it must be met each subsequent year before December 31st of every calander year. Severe penalties to me up to 50% of RMD amount if i do not make this deadline.

A

To calculate your RMD, start by visiting the IRS website and access IRS Publication 590. This document has the RMD tables (example below) that you will use to calculate your RMD. Then, take the following steps:

Locate your age on the IRS Uniform Lifetime Table
Find the “life expectancy factor” that corresponds to your age
Divide your retirement account balance as of December 31 of the previous year by your current life expectancy factor. This will be your RMD.

My factor is 25.6 years
