A model can be characterized as a theory in early stages, models may or may not have empirical evidence to support them,( helps people understand health behaviors) . models provide guidance for planning health education and health promotion programs

Descriptive epi: summarizes the impact and extent of health related events among particular groups (Who, what, when, where)
Analytic epi: ( identifies causes and risk factors) focus on the search for determinants of disease .( how + why)

My favorite assignment was the coordinated care and APM paper because I was able to analyze real-world policy solutions and see how they aim to make care more accessible.

My favorite video shown in class was the one where Dr. Slonim was explaining the difference between community , population, and public health. I selected this video because it covered a topic i never really thought to ask + it was short but to the point.
