What are 3 ways humans are imperfect ?
morally imperfect, psychologically imperfect , and intellectually imperfect
What is human imperfection?
Conservatives reject ideas from enlightenment , Human imperfection goes against liveral idea of human rationality , humans are rational creatures that can become more fulfilled when given freedom to make own choices.
1) What does it mean by humans being psychologically imperfect ?

1=Our brains mean that we are not necessarily rational , humans attracted to safety , comfort and order rather than radical ideas and change - order and hierarchy in society should be preserved .
2)= human rationality is imperfect and unreliable , humans intellectually imperfect.
disagrees with liberal view , we are unable to fully understand world around us
3)= humans have flawed characters - cannot always act perfect or rationally. Conservatives believe in behaviour regulation through law (anti -permissiveness ) as a result of moral imperfection.
What is conservatives organic society/state arguement?
Society develops as an organism , therfore constanly changing , conservatives support gradual change , and believe society will evolve to fit needs of present , Idea of organic state links to a cohesive society , because it suggests state unity is more important than disagreements between states individuals parts.
What is change to conserve?
Links to idea of organic change , conservatives believe it is important to adapt to changing circumstances in society , as long as these adaptions conserve basic principles of social order , hierarchy and tradition, change to conserves preserves status quo
What are examples of change to conserv?
one nation - emerged as a response to emergence of capitalism in britain during industrial revoltuion , pm disraeli tried to bring society tgt to form one nation., upper class ruling ,middle class making moeny and wc producing goods
