what is it?
A
An outer fibrous capsule is formed containing multiple small daughter cysts
These cysts are allergens which precipitate a type 1 hypersensitivity reaction.

A
> 5cm in diameter

what is morbidity causes
A
infection and organ dysfunction (biliary, bronchial, renal and cerebrospinal fluid outflow obstruction)

what is the classical triad in biliary rupture?

jaundice
urticaria

- imaging - US 1st line then CT
- serology (antibody/antigen tests)
