Q

What are the three types of filter, and where are they installed?

A

HP Filter
* On all 3 systems
* Reservoir filling system
* Normal braking system

Return Line Filter
* Each system

7
Q

Why would the ENG 1 (2) PUMP pb show amber FAULT lt?

When does the light go out?

A
  • Reservoir level low
  • Reservoir overheats
  • Reservoir air pressure low
  • Pump low pressure
    inhibited on ground, engines off

Extinguished when pressed OFF, except for an overheat (until over)

Q

When does the B ELEC PUMP run when in AUTO?

Can the Y ELEC PUMP run when OFF?

A

In flight if AC power avail

On ground if one engine is running or crew has pressed B PUMP OVRD

Q

When PTU in AUTO, when will it run?

When is it inhibited?

What happens when selected OFF?

FAULT lt?

A
  • G/Y pressure differential of over 500 PSI
  • Test during second engine start

Inhibited during first engine start

OFF: valves either side of pump close

FAULT: G or Y FAULT
(RSVR OVERHEAT, AIR PR LO, LO LVL)
stays on for overheat
