  • Assess HR and BP. Hold if heart rate less than 60
  • Monitor glucose in diabetics,
  • Assess s/s heart failure.
  • Do not stop taking abruptly
  • Teach-Contact provider for signs of
    worsening heart failure, respiratory symptoms, low HR, or erectile dysfunction, or other intolerable side effects.
