A

You first name the cation (positive) then the anion (negative) with the suffix “-ide”. Use Roman numerals for metals with multiple states

A

Use Greek prefixes: mono-, di-, tri-, tetra-, penta-, hexa-, etc. Use suffix “-ide” for last element
