Golden crusted lesions on flexures, around mouth, limbs
May be complication of eczema

Management of impetigo?

Answer 3

Systemically well -> hydrogen peroxide 1% cream, topical fusidic acid
If resistance to fusidic acid use topical mupirocin

Systemically unwell -> oral fluxloxacillin/erythromycin

Exclude from school until lesions have crusted or until 48h after starting abx
