What is Implicit Prejudice?
Unconscious or automatic negative attitudes towards social groups

Unconscious, automatic, learned, measurable, and has a behavioral impact.
What is the Devine Study and what does it tell us?
This study tells us that high racists have no filter in their conscious mind while low racists have filters in their conscious mind but an unconscious bias.

A implicit association test that measures the speed of associations between positive/negative words and group cues.

Hiring white sounding names, undertreating minority patients, discipling students of color more frequently
What is the two strategy bias solution?
A solution to implicit prejudice by consciously overriding biases to subvert unconscious biases which then changes the implicit associations of individuals.
