Side Effects:
* increase risk of bleeding (long
term: partial or total kidneys fail)

Obs.: patient addiction, renal chronic and
drinks alcohol, “Ibuprofeto acentua doença
renal. Prescever Hydrocodone”

*Obs2.: if patient drinks alcohol and has
cirrhosis: Ibuprofen 3.200mg

MOA:
* Enhance gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) effects at the GABA-A
Receptors
* Increase GABA binding and chloride ion influx to slow down the
CNS

CHARACTERISTICS:
* Midazolam – short/to child because is IM
* Triazolam – short/adult and child, cooperative, oral
* Diazepam (valium) – long /adult
* Lorazepam – intermediate-acting

Obs.: Diazepam 5mg 1hs before appointment or at bedtime the night before the dental appointment.

Obs.2: Flumazenil reverse benzodiazepine activity
(avoid in pregnancy).
