Luke - focuses on Marys reaction to Angel Gabriel’s message. Mary was given a choice whether she wanted to have Jesus, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Matthew - Titled the ‘virgin birth’. Focuses on Josephs reaction to the news. Joseph was prepared to break up with Mary, however an angel addressed his concerns and explained it was rightful to marry Mary.
