Describe the pre-event stage of trauma care.
Factors existing before the injury: intoxication, poor vision, heart disease, etc.
Describe the event phase of trauma care.
Begins at first contact with the injuring force and ends when the cause of injury is no longer being applied
Describe the post-event phase of trauma care.
When emergency care is performed
