How many weights are used to create the pendulum deflections?
A
4 weights, 2 each side.
shift port weights to starboard recording each deflection then starboard weights to port
Total 8 movements so divide the sum of the deflections by 8 to get the average

A
((weight x distance) / displacement) x (length of pendulum/ average deflection)
