Christians felt the need to convert ‘heathens’ (non-believers) into their religion, so they went to foreign land and often claimed it as their own and enslaved those who would not follow their religion

He lead the campaign to get the native title act (1994), this law recognises the rights and interests of Aboriginals according to their traditional laws and customs.

As a blemish of the past. Blemish implies that the past can be wiped away almost as if it was a minor effect in history. He lacks responsibility and accountability of the effects the past has had on Aboriginals now.
Why should we revisit Indigenous past
To sustain Indigenous identity, whether it is personal, community or national. It enriches their heritage, laws and local tourism. This representation can inspire other Indigenous culture.
