A

When a couple can’t get prgenant despite having regular unprotected sex, over the course of 1 year.

What are the 2 types of infertility?

A

Primary fertility is when someone who’s never had a child before is having trouble conceiving.

Secondary infertility is when someone has had 1 or more children in the past, but is having difficulty conceiving again.

Both are after 12 months of intercouse.

How does fertility change with age in woman?

A

Decreases.

4.5% at age 25 years, 7%at age 30 years, 12% at age 35 years and 20% at age 38 years. There-after, it rises rapidly to about 50% at age 41, almost 90% at age 45 years and approaching 100% at age 50 years
