what is wrong with this dog?
a dog has sc, nodular mass on its chest which was growing in size rapidly
there is a foregin body (grass seed), it is surronded by a thick infiltrate of neutrophils and fibrin, outside this layer are various layers of fibrous tisse and macrohages, lymphocytes and plasma cells.
The foregin body is lined by neutrophils
the surrounding tissue consists of multipe masses of inflammatory tissue surrounded fibrous tissue, neutrophils and macrohages

What is wrong with this dog?
the dog has a history of vomitting and weight loss for 3 months, upon post-mortem examination revelaed a large, fibrous gastro-duodenal foreign body, the pancreas was slightly nodular .
There is diffused inflitration of lymphocytes and plasma cells through the pancreatic tissue. There is also macrophage scattered throughout the tissue, there is neutrophil infiltration and there is an increase of fibrous tissue.

What is wrong with this ostrich?
its been anorexia, post mortem examination revealed large intra-abdominal caseous mass near the ovary, with several smaller caseous masses in the liver and lungs
Birds have heterophils which are neutrophils for birds
there are macrophages present, multi-nucleated giant cells, lots of fibrous tissue
its a bacterialm infection
