* Ensure that adequate instruction is provided
Instruction should be tailored to the individual; no two students are the same

Standards of Performance
- The instructor is responsible for training the applicant to acceptable standards in every task, maneuver, and procedure, and in all subject matter areas.
- Standards allow for the FAA practical test standards (ACS/PTS)
- The PTS/ACS is a testing document, not a teaching document

Physiological obstacles for flight students
- Students may react to unfamiliar noises or vibrations, or experience unfamiliar sensations due to g-forces, or uncomfortable feeling in the stomach.
These are real obstacles that can usually be overcome simply by understanding what causes them.
