  • TNCs use low income countries offering higher wages than the norm meaning local subjects themselves to dangerous work conditions such as sweat shops
  • Foreign aid can reduce incentive for governments to help their own countries
  • Companies compression governments to alleviate taxes or relaxation and environmental laws so that TNCs will invest
  • TNCs have said to be profiting too much is not enough of the profit stay in the LIC is where the actual workforce is

Some argue deregulation is happening too quickly and LIC’s can’t keep up
- Reform of regulations would work better than only D regulation
- Privatisation allows large companies who obey originally state and industries to grow and LIC don’t benefit from profits
- Regulation may lead to more relaxed social and environmental damage without proper government regulation
- Ideas of multiculturalism and interdependency may be disputed by some people
