quick, 2 way. can see facial expression
dk if listening, might be long, not suitable for permanent recordes of msg

hard evidence, good fir msg with details, can be copied, cheap and quick
feedback is not always possible, 2 way is hard as info overload, dk if msg is sent, language is difficult, no body language
what is the advantages and disadvantages if visual
attractive, clearer
no feedback, diff to interpret
what is formal communication
message are sent through established channels using professional language
what is informal communication
information is sent and received casually using everyday language
what are the 4 communication barrier
problems with sender, receiver, medium and feedback
how can problems with sender be removed
make msg with easy language, clear instructions, ensure right person is receiving it, msg shld be brief
how can problems with medium be fixed
insist feedback, select appropriate channel, shortest channel shld be used, use a diff medium
how can problmes with receiver be fixes
ask for feedback, emphasise on important part, trust or ask another sender
