Q

Why do I want to work for Aviva Investors?

A

Dynamic and forward thinking business to work for - creativity and opportunity come up a lot and I like that the business encourages empowerment of their employees.

Fresh perspective for my career, using an existing foundation from my previous role and building out on new asset classes and a new operating industry.

I am the type of person that likes to build expertise around an area as opposed to being more of a generalist and so I think Aviva Investors brings the opportunity to build this expertise around a real variety of asset classes.

Q

Why do you want to do the capital reporting analyst role?

A

Capital is all about strategy and encompassing all of the knowledge about company transactions to make an effective and informed decision about which actions to take. Forward looking.

I am an economist by education and so dealing with real time changes to world and market events is exciting and allows you to bring in a lot of the bigger picture into your daily decisions. Capital is current and future thinking and its at the heart of any business… without it the business fails very quickly.

I like the fast-paced environment that capital reporting sits within. Because you need to focus your decisions on a lot of different factors you get to work with a lot of different people across a variety of teams and build relationships across a lot of the department.
