16
Q

What is a wekaness of open questions in interviews?

A

They use qualitative data which may be subject to interpretation bias from the researcher.

17
Q

Why is social desireability a weakness to interviews?

A

The results of the interview may be less valid as the participant will be lying

18
Q

What is a weakness of structured interviews?

A

There is no change to the questions meaning the participants cannot elaborate on their answers

19
Q

Why is it a weakness that participants receive different questions in unstructured interviews?

A

The interview cannot be repeated therefore lacks reliability

20
Q

Why is it a weakness that unstructured interviews aren’t standardised?

A

Because we cannot compare and analyse results

21
Q

Why is it a weakness that unstructured interviews are harder to conduct and require training

A

it is time consuming and costly due to training.
