Q

Texts

A

My first text is an extracted page of Chapter 10, of the graphic novel ‘Persepolis’ by Marjane Satrapi, where she recounts her experiences growing up in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. Whereas The non-literary text is Malala’s 16th birthday speech at the UN commonly known as “The Power of Education”, Malala is an advocate for change, she is the voice of countless girls whose education has been disrupted by conflict and this speech is no exception to it.
