Why is Henry Ford such a famous person in the history of the auto industry?

A

Henry Ford came up with a car that everyone could afford to buy and the car would go on longer. This was the Model T. He also came up with the assembly line, which created a mass production. This mass production allowed cars to be cheaper. Automobiles became popular as a result.
