(12 cards)

1
Q

how do you test temperature change produced by respiration

A

-put two beans in two seperate vacuum flaks
-make sure air is left in flasks for aerobic respiration
-put a thermometer in each and seal top with cotton wool

Q

how to test for co2 with an indicator

A

-soak benas in water for a day to germinate
-put in hydrogen carbonate indicator
-place a platform of gauze into each test tube and put beans on them
-seal with rubber bung
-leave for hour
-co2 produces will turn indicator orange to yellow
