What is the definition for an issue?

A

A Problem that is now breaching, or is about to breach, delegated tolerances for work on a project or programme. Issues require support from the sponsor to agree a resolution.

A

-Identification analysis and management of the issue.
-can build on planned risk response if any but it is only an issue if risk response plans have been exceeded.

A

-Issues can be asssessed as needing escalation.
-This is to improve the resolution process.
-Senior management involvement who may have organisation wide resource available to help resolve the issue.
-They may also have more power and be able to act faster than the PM/
