Q

What do Orthodox and Reform Jews think about the Torah?

A

ORTHODOX JEWS believe that the Torah must not be altered and should be understood literally (this is similar to Creationist Christians)

REFORM JEWS believe that taking the Torah literally is impossible as it was written in a very different time and place and cannot apply to modern life without some changes. So, the text needs to be interpreted to fit in with modern life.
