normally they follow; however, if the intent is to identify a a specific noun, then they precede.
(1) ho un amico vecchio (I have a friend who is old)
(2) lui è un vecchio amico (he is an old friend)

A

They do not match the gender of the noun in the SINGULAR…they always end in ‘e

They always end in -i in the plural regardless of the gender
