Structure: Low tannin, high acidity, light body, low alcohol

Ripening: Needs warm site to ripen properly
Disease: Thick-skinned (resistant to mildew), but coulure and botrytis sensitive
Uniqueness: Grows best on warm gravelly soils
Flavor Profile: Red cherry, earthy notes
