The Weimar gov announced the TOV terms to reduce army size and disband Friekorps there was opposition in Berlin

A
He was a politician and leader of Freikorps. Decided to seize Berlin + form right wing government with him as Chancellor

He stressed the communist threat, the Dolchstoss theory and the severity of TOV terms

Kapp successfully seized Berlin in 13th March 1920 and gov moved to Stuggart

Told Berlin people not to support Putsch and asked them to go on strike. The putsch collapsed
