  1. 2nd line agent for severe traumatic pain post 200mcg fentanyl administration
  2. 1st line agent severe traumatic pain if no other administration available
  3. 1st line agent severely disturbed/abnormal behaviour RASS 4
  4. combative TBI

Route dose and Dilution for:

2nd line agent for severe traumatic pain post 200mcg fentanyl administration

A

IV

5-20mg titrated (1-2ml) - repeat 5-10mg every 10 mins

Dilute with 18mls NaCl to make 20mg/ml
