Ketamine 50mg/ml Indications
A
Management of severe agitated in whom de-escalation methods or calming methods have been unsuccessful or are inappropriate in the following situations:
- Suspected severe Acute Behavioural Disturbance (ABD) including severe agitation precipitated by drug misuse or psychiatric disorder
- Severe agitation where reversible causes have been excluded (i.e hypoxia and hypoglycaemia).

Ketamine 50mg/ml Exclusion criteria
A
- Aged under 12
- Patients with current airway compromise or where securing the airway will be difficult;
- Known previous adverse reaction/ hypersensitivity
- Uncontrolled hypertension (SBP ≥ 180mmHg and or DBP ≥ 110mmHg).
- acute porphyria.
