A
Essentially, outputs are the result of a business’s efforts — the final good or service that is delivered or provided to the consumer. Manufacturing businesses transform inputs into tangible products, or goods.

A
The main concept of operations management is the processes the inputs (resources) undergo to become the output (goods or services) — often referred to as the transformation process.
