Umar bin Khattab ra said I gifted a horse I used to ride on in the path of Allah (SWT), so its owner made it weak, so I thought that I will ask for it back, so then I asked Nabi (SAW) about that. Nabi (SAW) said “do not take it back, and do not return your Sadqah, so indeed, the one who asks for his Sadqah back is like a dog who returns his own vomit.”
