A

It was the start of women’s sexual liberation, aided by events such as the introduction of the contraceptive pill- this point links in with how women were sexualised in the poster and the time period (objects)

  • It grabs the attention of the audience and they are eye catching
  • by making the colours desaturated reinforces the films dark, scary conventions whilst some bright tones draw attention to the vampire blood

A

It could be both hard and soft sell as the nature is casual in terms of the simplicity of the working but the listed cast names on the bottom and the fact it comes in colour creates a persuasive nature to buy/watch the film
