A
  • Sensory Register: contains unprocessed impressions of information from senses. It has separate sensory stores for each sense e.g iconic for visual info
  • Short Term Memory: a temporary store for information from SR
  • Long Term Memory: a permanent store holding limitless amounts of information for long periods of time
