Anterior fibers: flex, lateral rotation, horizontal abduct shoulder
Posterior fibers: ext, lateral rotation, horizontal abduct shoulder

A: lateral rotation, adduct shoulder, stabilize humerus in glenoid fossa

O: median half of clavicle, sternum, ribs 1-6
I: lateral lip of bicipital groove of humerus
A: All: adduct, medial rotate shoulder, elevate thorax during breathing
Upper: flex, horizontal adduct shoulder
Lower: extend shoulder

O: ribs 3-5
I: coracoid process
A: depresses scapula, abduct scapula! downward rotation of scapula

O: common flex tendon medial epicondyle of humerus & coronoid process of ulna
I: mid lateral surface of radius
A: pronate forearm, assist elbow in flexion

I: minor: upper medial border scapula-across from spine of scapula

O: occipital protuberance, nuchal line of occiput, c7-t12
I: lateral 1/3 scapula
A: bilaterally: ext neck/head
Unilaterally: lat flex, rotate, elevate, up rotate head/neck
Middle fibers: adduct, stabilize scapula
Lower fibers: depress, up rotate scapula
