What is Labeled Data?
Data that includes both inputs and known outputs
An image of a cat label “cat”
What is unlabelled data?
Data that contain input but no known outputs or categories.
A folder of image with no tags or label
What is Structured data?
Organised in a clear, tabular format
A spreadsheet of sales data with columns for name, date, and amount.
What is Unstructured Data?
Data that doesn’t have a predefined format.
Emails, social media post, videos, image
How does unsupervised learning use data?
It work with unlabelled data to find patterns, clusters, or relationship on it own without human provided answers.
Why is unsupervised learning valuable?
No need for labeled dataset
Help discover hidden patterns or grouping in big, messy database
