A

A

Anovulation w/ luteinisation of theca. Delayed/ insufficient LH peak.
Wall >3mm. Produces progesterone.

What is endometritis cf metritis?

A

Metritis occurs w/in a couple of days of parturition, involves all layers of the uterus, systemic illness, purulent fetid fluid in uterine lumen
Endometritis- occurs later, only inner supf layer (endometrium), white mucous, not sick.

A

Metritis- dystocia, twins, ketosis, milk fever
