What is daily maximum temperature and what is it measured in and what are the numbers expressed as?
-Measured in degrees celsius and values are given to 1dp

Given in mm, if amount is less than 0.05 given as a trace of rain.

recording not available.

- Saturation of water vapour in the atmosphere.
- Values above 95% are associated with mist and fog.
- if the value is 100% condensation can occur.
What is daily mean windspeed?
- Daily windspeed is in knots 1 knot is 1.15 mph.
- Can also be used with beufort scale.
What is daily maximum gust?
-This is the maximum instantaneous speed that happened in 24 hours (measured in knots).
What is daily mean wind direction?
-The value is given in degrees relative to true north. Values are given to the nearest 10 degrees.

-This is the direction that the wind was blowing when the corresponding gust happened.

- This is the fraction of celestial dome that is covered by clouds.
- Measures in oktas 0-8

-Measured horizontally, unavailable data is marked by a dash.

Recorded in hectopascals. (hpa)

-Heathrow has highest recorded due to airport
Which data station in the UK has the highest windspeed?
Leuchars, could be due to close proximity to the sea. (also may make it cooler).

- This is located in Florida (close to the sea).
- High temps and more rainfall than the UK.
- Northen hemisphere.
