  1. Allegro, Sonata
  2. Adagio, Ternary / theme and variation
  3. Scherzo and trio (ternary)
  4. Sonata Rondo, often a Chaconne

Symphony sections become much longer and modulations more complex and wide.

The final movements sonata form was developed upon by incorporating the original theme from the first move,ent, creating a cyclical narrative.
