Briefly who was kett
Tanner ( someone who worked with leather and hides) , from social group of aristans and yeomen farmers, not member of gentry but was a landowner
What kind of leader was he
Idealistic , disciplined and structured, very persuasive
What tactics did he use
Court of justice in which gentry members put on trail (demonstrate a government without the need of gentry) , used wrists and commissions helped to persuade other local communities and officials to co- operate as made them less aggressive, rebels took moral high ground
Why was he leadership so important
Meant rebels behaved peacefully and therefore gained more support, persuasive managed to gain 16,000 followers, rebels able to act as a model government
What mistakes did he make
As Warwick cut off rebels supplies kett panicked and moved to Dussinadale tactical disaster as on Mousehold rebels were well protected , lacked military skilled
