Who were they
Group of thinkers often politicians clergymen intellectuals with strong reformer (Protestant) believes . Aim was to create godly commonwealth
What is godly commonwealth
Belief that the wealthy had a Christian duty given to them by god to look after the port and needy this would create a more Christian society in which the common hood was upheld
What were they against
Against enclosure saw them as a product of rich and greedy exploiting the poor
Why were there ideas important
Influenced rebels as they called for social change also influenced the Duke of Somerset as he introduced commissions of inquiry into illegal enclosures
